About

I began to take weight training seriously around the age of 13 years old. I would go 3-4 days out of the week after school and doing homework. It was a good get away from home and a healthy alternative to going out and doing whatever high schoolers do these days!

After High School I kept working out, its what helped me stay focused to earn a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering. Probably one of the hardest, most difficult things I’ve done in my life (and yes I have children haha). The gym was my place of solace, almost a church for me. Its where I am most at peace and has given me something to strive for everyday.

Im far removed from University life, and the bachelor life. I have a wife, and wonderful little boy that has brought nothing but joy to my life. But with that came a lot of responsibilities that are time consuming, and of course the first thing to go for me was gym time, which really should not have gone anywhere.

I fell off the wagon, hard. I gained weight, got soft and was really not myself. It even affected my relationship. Something had to change, so I did what I had to do and made time to get back in the gym and eat right. And believe it or not, it wasn’t that difficult. Look at activities you do in your everyday life, that absorb much of your time but aren’t really a benefiting you in anyway. Just take some time from those, and that time to better yourself. The best investment you can ever make, is not stocks, it’s not bonds or even property, it will always be yourself.

I started Rocket Fitness & nutrition to reach out to people like me. People who may have fallen off the wagon, people who are running low on free time or just people in general that want or maybe need to make a change in their diet, fitness or overall lifestyle. Thats why I also call myself a “life coach”, because you need to change your life style, and things around you to get where you need to be. Its not easy, but it is simple. With these changes, your life, your mood and overall outlook will greatly improve and believe it or not, those changes will rub off on those around you.

Lets go on this journey together.
